Canon, then Nikon users have been able to utalise Profoto’s OCF (Off Camera Flash) technology for the B1 and B2 lighting products for a couple of years now.

Joining the range of compatible products are Sony, via the new Air TTL-S.

TTL & HSS for Sony

Profoto today announce their collaboration with Sony. The first step in this collaboration is the Profoto Air Remote TTL-S.

Profoto Air Remote TTL-S is a small, wireless radio transmitter that can be attached to the Sony camera’s hotshoe. The remote offers full TTL and HSS capability with Profoto’s D2, B1, and B2 flashes. It is compatible with the camera models Sony α7 II, Sony α7R II, Sony α7S II, and the new Sony α99 II.

Light is the essence of every image and with Profoto AirTTL light shaping becomes simpler. It unlocks new creative possibilities and helps you go from idea to final image faster.

The Air Remote TTL-S will be available in early 201.
