On Saturday I was again invited to be part of Park Cameras annual celebration event. As always it seemed to go well, I was constantly busy and met some new, interesting and enthusiastic people. I hope we can cross paths again and that the advice and demonstrations I gave will prove useful. Well done also to the Park Cameras staff, this was one busy day for you.
Here is the post event press release:
Park Cameras’ Imaging Festival Success
On Saturday 5th June 2010, the very first Park Cameras Imaging Festival took place at Burgess Hill, West Sussex as one of the UK’s premier independent photographic retailers opened its doors to photo enthusiasts from across the country.
With extensive queues forming from 07.30 onwards with photographers anxious to grab one of the many unrepeatable limited sale offers available on the day, those attending were in for a treat with representatives from over 50 of the world’s leading imaging brands, free bite size seminars, half price sensor cleans and a host of free prize draws all available throughout the course of the day, making this the biggest event of its kind that Park Cameras has so far hosted since moving to bespoke premises in 2008.
Designed to showcase the very best that Park Cameras has to offer, the day was one not to be missed for amateur and professional photographers alike with the chance to converse with brand experts as well as tap into the knowledge of renowned professional photographers John Clements and Jon Gray in the surroundings of Park Cameras’ School of Photography Education Suite. Complementing this knowledge was the chance to purchase into the very latest technology from the likes of Canon, Nikon, Sony, Samsung and Olympus, to name but a few of the many brands to be found under the Park Cameras roof.
With Park Cameras celebrating its fortieth year of trading next year, consumer expectations for the next event have already been set to new heights!
