I am often flattered and humbled by the positive comments I get.
Thank you to all of you who are so kind and complementary.
High among these is the response to my shooting with portable flash or in particular Nikon Speedlights over the years and the sharing of that knowledge.
So I am delighted to say that once again I have been invited to give a talk on the Nikon stand at this years Focus On Imaging show about their use, share some tips and some my experiences using them.
If you have not had a chance to attend a workshop or would like a refresh the talk entitled – John Clements – Speedlight Master – takes place at 2 p.m. on Monday (4th March).
I have used them extensively now for decades and long ago lost track of the work professionally they have been used for.
No matter of shooting inside or out on location, they are invaluable.
In my role as ‘The Advisor On Photography’ for Nikon UK again a long time ago now, but also in recent years running their official lighting workshops, I have tried to draw on my experiences to share that information.
Many of today’s ‘pros’ extolling the virtues of Speedlight photography have been on courses with me, let alone countless enthusiasts so I am pleased with what I have been able to do to spread the word.
There is no need to book, but seating is on a first come first served basis.
